Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary
The Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary, opened on 26 September 2020, is a unique and innovative facility operated by Port Stephens Council in partnership with Port Stephens Koalas and the NSW Government.
Focused on conservation, this facility includes a hospital for sick, injured, or orphaned Koalas and a tourism and accommodation destination.
If you discover a sick or injured Koala that may need rescuing or are worried about a Koala’s health or location, please call the 24hr Koala Rescue Number - 1800 PS KOALAS (1800 775 625). Rescue volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
