Annual report

Each year, we produce an annual report for our community on our achievements, challenges and what's next in implementing our Delivery Program. It also includes a copy of our Council's audited financial reports.

We're required to prepare the report within 5 months of the end of each financial year (by 30 November) in line with section 428 of the Local Government Act 1993 and clause 217 of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005.

The report is prepared in accordance with the Local Government Regulation and the Integrated Planning & Reporting Guidelines.


How to read our Annual Report


Annual Report 2023 to 2024

Volume 1 provides an overview of our operations, achievements and performance for the year together with statutory and governance information.


Volume 2 contains our audited financial accounts including performance, financial position and cash flows for the financial year ended 30 June 2024.

Volume 3 is the Our Port Stephens 2021 to 2024 Report, detailing progress across the key directions of its Community Strategic Plan: Our Community, Our Place, Our Environment, and Our Council.
