Ability Action Australia is a registered NDIS provider with offices located throughout Australia. Our current services include occupational therapy and exercise physiology with plans to expand and include other allied health professions in the near future.

A-Z Clinical Solutions

A-Z Clinical Solutions provides Occupational Therapy Driving Assessments, Daily Living Assessments and Home or Environmental reviews. Whether it be prescribing equipment, discussing modifications, exploring new ways to do things or a combination of it all, they work with you to bring back your quality of life. Registered with the NDIS, LTCA, DVA and a range of private health insurers.


Amputees and Associates — Newcastle and Northern Region

Established in 1976 by a group of Amputees within the Hunter Region and is a registered charity. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. AANNR is Incorporated and has Charity Authority to fund raise and is affiliated with the NSW Amputee Association. AANNR supports all amputees and if requested will offer emotional support to their families. There are no age restrictions. AANNR covers a large region, extending from the northern region of the Central Coast; to the west as far as Cessnock and Kurri Kurri and to the north as far as Bulahdelah.

Run by amputees for amputees, this group has dedicated volunteers who are available to help provide information and assistance to all amputees in the community.


Australian Arthrogryposis Group (TAAG)

The birth of a child with a disability can be a devastating experience for the family involved and the rarity of this condition may make the family feel extremely isolated.


Care for you at Home

Care for you at Home is a private Nursing Service that operates throughout Port Stephens, Newcastle, Maitland and Dungog.


Carer Gateway

Free support services for carers — support planning, counselling, peer support, carer directed support packages and respite, including emergency respite.

Life Unlimited Support Services (LUSS) is an organisation providing support to individuals and their support network in the Disability and Aged Care sectors. LotUs Assist

LotUs Assist is a boutique service that specialises in NDIS Support Coordination and Plan Management. It also provides recovery coach, accommodation and tenancy management, transport to appointments and help with meals, shopping, gardening and more.


Maitland Vision Loss Support Group

Raymond Terrace MyTime

MyTime groups provide support for mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone caring for a child aged 0 to 16 years with a disability or chronic medical condition. The group meets at Irrawang Public School from 9 to 11am each Thursday.

Raymond Terrace Therapy

Raymond Terrace Therapy is an Allied Health service provider dedicated to providing the highest quality service to our clients and stakeholders. We provide a wide range of professional services for all ages and abilities. These include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and dietetics services.

We are registered with a variety of funding bodies which can be used to access our services, including (but not limited to) National Disability Insurance scheme (NDIS), Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), iCARE (health and workers compensation insurance claims), and private health insurance.


Riding for the Disabled — Raymond Terrace and Lower Hunter Centre

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which provides riding instruction, carriage driving and horse management skills for people with disabilities. It welcomes volunteers from all walks of life.

Songbird Homes

Songbird Homes is a residential support service for people with a disability. They provide group homes that enable the client to live in their local community with 24 hour care and support. All of Songbird Homes residents are NDIS funded.


SPL Living

Available housing in Newcastle, Hunter and Port Stephens.  Our housing is available for individuals over 18yrs who are homeless, receive regular Centrelink or a Disability Pension or someone who has NDIS Funding and requires support. Our aim is to capacity build our occupants / participants through our Restorative Life Support. We are not a normal housing organisation; our approach works for the occupants / participants that are willing to participate.

Wheeling & Able is a non-profit organisation providing financial support to children with disabilities living in the Hunter region to access mobility aids and equipment.

Based in Newcastle, Yellow Door has a huge amount of experience working with people with disabilities and with the NDIA. The organisation currently has capacity to take on NDIS participants in the Port Stephens, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter and Central Coast regions.
