Solar lights up fish cleaning tables across Port Stephens

Port Stephens fishers can rejoice with the addition of new solar lights at fish cleaning tables, making it easier to use fishing facilities year-round.

The new solar LED lights provide a sustainable, environmentally-friendly source of lighting and have been funded by a grant from Recreational Fishing Trusts.

Port Stephens is known for its recreational fishing and these solar lights will make it an even more attractive destination for fishers, by allowing them to clean their catch safely and easily at any time of day or night.

The lights have been installed at boat ramps at Shoal Bay, Soldiers Point, Henderson Park Lemon Tree Passage, Karuah, Fitzgerald Bridge Raymond Terrace, Little Beach Nelson Bay and Tomago.
