Give a Sheet® textile recycling drop off day - Raymond Terrace

Come along to Port Stephens Council's textile recycling drop off day, 'Give a Sheet for the Planet', in collaboration with BlockTexx Textile Recovery Technologies.

From 9am to 3pm, we'll take your unwanted textiles such as old bed sheets, towels, blankets and tablecloths, and divert them out of landfill and into a circular economy – it's the perfect chance for a spring clean!

Accepted Items:

  • 100%  cotton or polyester blend
  • towels
  • bed sheets and pillowcases
  • blankets
  • doona covers
  • tea towels
  • tablecloths

Items we can't accept:

  • anything that is not 100% cotton or polyester such as wool, silk, nylon, leather, neoprene, elastin etc
  • bathmats with rubber backings
  • filled doonas or coverlets, mattress protectors and/or pillowcases
  • microfibre cloths or teatowels

Free for Port Stephens residents.

BlockTexx is an Australian owned, advanced manufacturing business that gives new life to unwanted textiles and clothing by recycling and remanufacturing them into high grade raw materials so they can be used to make new products.
