Designed by the Hunter Joint Organisation and funded by the NSW Environment Protection Authority, ReUse Hunter empowers the  community to play their part in reducing landfill by  re-using or repairing products, keeping valuable products in circulation.
Councils are facing a growing challenge – how to manage increasing  waste volumes while meeting ambitious  reduction targets and evolving community expectations.

While previous campaigns have raised awareness about the link between consumption and waste, they haven’t provided practical tools or solutions for residents to actively reduce their waste generation.

ReUse Hunter has been developed to move beyond awareness campaigns and empower residents with the tools and resources they need to make a real difference in waste reduction.
