Calling all young performing artists!
Port Stephens Council is thrilled to present the Port Stephens Youth Week Battle of the Arts on Thursday 17 April 2025 as part of Youth Week 2025.
This exciting event is all about showcasing the incredible talent of our local young performers.
If you’re a musician, dancer, or actor with a passion for performing, this is your chance to shine!

- Promote your talent and future as a performing artist
- Compete for a chance to win over $500 in prizes

Fly Point, Victoria Parade, Nelson Bay, 2315
Key Dates:
- Applications Open: 14 February 2025
- Applications Close: 16 March 2025 at midnight
- Successful Applicants Notified: 25 March 2025
- Performance Night: 17 April 2025
Entry Categories and Criteria:- Music – Bands, solo artists, instrumentalists
- Dance – Solo or groups (max 10 per group)
- Drama – Solo, group performances, poets, storytellers
Please note, the Port Stephens Youth Week Battle of the Arts is an equal opportunity forum for all diverse performing arts members to participate in. Performers must either live or be schooled in Port Stephens.

Participants have the chance to win fantastic prizes, including the major prize of $500!
Performance Night Details:- Performers will be notified of technical and dress rehearsal schedules by 25 March 2025.
