Dutchmans Beach Reserve

Dutchmans Beach Reserve or "Dutchies Beach" as it is fondly called by the local community, offers calm water swimming and sand for sandcastle building. There are grassy areas with BBQ's for picnics and a great playground for the children. Dutchies Beach is part of Nelson Bay and is tucked away from the bustle of the town's centre.

There is a great walking path that takes you into Nelson Bay with spectacular waterviews or if travelled in a western direction the path leads to Bagnalls Beach and onto Corlette. Access to the Barlett cycleway.
