NAIDOC Week Author Visit - Lorraine Lilley

Lorraine is a local author originally from Karuah, growing up and attending school in Raymond Terrace. Lorraine wrote her memoir ‘Mop Dolly’ to leave for her family, a project that became larger than anticipated.

Lorraine will speak about what it was like to live in a world where government bureaucracies controlled her Aboriginal family. However, her story is more triumphant than sad.
